The Loons have been getting press on both sides of the Atlantic lately.  Here is a recent feature from CityBeat Magazine in the U.S., and here's a rather interesting one from an Irish paper.  The latter gave us a full page feature, although some of the facts were a bit funny... the former ran in the print edition under the headline "Dark Side of the Loons"... which gave us a chuckle.

The album is finally done!  The new Voodoo Loons album, titled Euphobia, is finally done.  It will still be a little while before it's available in the CD stores and online outlets (itunes, Rhapsody, etc.)... but we'll be announcing a special "advance copy" offer, including a special limited edition bonus disc, that you'll be able to buy here via Paypal starting on Dec. 14.  Stay tuned for details...

Watch the Loons Mix Their Album On MySpace.... We're trying something different that we hope you'll join us for.  We have about 2 weeks of solid final mixing to do on the album, and starting immediately (yesterday, actually) we'll be constantly updating the songs on our MySpace page to reflect the latest mixes.  Sometimes you'll hear subtle changes, and sometimes rather dramatic ones, and they'll be changing at least daily, sometimes more.  Drop us comments and let us know what you think.

Voodoo Loons To Kick Off MPMF.... The Loons have been invited back to the U.S. midwest's premier indie festival, the MidPoint Music Festival (MPMF).  Last year's spectacular Loons set started off with Dennis' amp catching fire, and this year's should be equally memorable as it will kick off the festival and feature the first performance of new material from the forthcoming album.  Check the events section for more details as they're made available.
